Boosta is 2 years and 2 months old!!!!
Boosta really just has gotten to the point where he's starting to say the darndest things...and since he isn't really picking up a new skill every other minute like Bug is...because, of course, he's older....I thought I would share some of the cute and funny things that pop out of his mouth!
-out of the blue, Boosta will walk up to me and say " It's fun to see you, Mommy"..I'm pretty sure he got this when we were at home visiting..when I'd say goodbye to friends, I'd say "it was fun to see you, thanks for stopping by"...it's so funny to see how he takes in every little thing we say!
-he likes to crawl under the recliner, when it's reclined, when Family Guy is sitting in it, and especially if there's a blanket over his legs..and he says "it's scary dark in here" but the cutest part, is that his "r's" sound a little bit like "w's" still...so it comes out like " it's scawwy dark in hewe"...just melts my heart every single time!
-he loves to make Bug laugh, and he loves to "gump" around where ever Bug is to get him to giggle so hard that he falls over! (gump means jump)
-Boosta LOVES bathtime, his favorite show is Caillou...this kind of annoying little bald 4 year old cartoon kid...I don't mind him that much, but wouldn't mind a break! Even if you can get him to watch anything besides Caillou, you still end up having to watch Caillou before nap or bed...so you may as well go ahead and get it over with...we're still limiting tv to 1-2 hours per day.
-when he wants to say "hi " to something or someone, he usually gets right in their face...like with his brother, or say...a dog..." hi doggie, hi"
-Boosta still loves books, and will sit still and snuggle to read a book at bedtime...even if it has way more words than this Family Girl is interested in reading...
-he's kind to his friends, usually gentle and loving to his brother, and is still so laid back. Boosta is truly a delight to be around, and we are so blessed that he is our son. He loves big kids, loves getting to play with his friends, and didn't miss a beat through the winter for his love of outside...every day, pretty much as soon as he's swallowed his breakfast, he asks to go play outside. He loves bubbles, and loves trying to make bubbles...
Here are some more pictures of my 26 month old Boosta!!His first Easter Egg Hunt...so cute!
the dragon ate Boosta... I'm planning to take both boys one day this week, if the weather holds up for me, and do our Spring pictures...we were going to go this past week, but it was cold and rainy that day!
Love,
Family Girl
