Boosta is 2 years and 8 months old...(plus a few days)

Boosta is 2 years and 8 months old
So...things Boosta is doing, or has done this month...WOW..this was a HUGE month for him!
He started preschool, and after the first 2 days, he has LOVED it! This Tuesday, he waltzed right into his class, we put his book bag away, and he said "go away mommy"...OUCH! He loves making "arc" (art) and they do that at preschool, and this kid thrives on structure and planned activities..which is why I enrolled him to begin with...he's having a blast! He's happy to go in the mornings, and thrilled when I pick him up. It give me 2 very short hours to run errands, clean house, or just hang out with Bug..which is something I've never really gotten to do without Boosta around, so Bug is also enjoying Boosta's preschool time!
As most of you know, we miscarried a pregnancy at the end of August, and have been dealing with some resulting sleep issues from Boosta..probably partially from the miscarriage, partly from starting preschool, and partly from potty training. So...we decided that since neither of us really knew what to do to get Boosta back in his room and sleeping normallly, we would call in a sleep consultant. It's pretty family specific..so if you're a friend of mine with a kid with sleep issues, and you're thinking of asking me how to do it...call them yourself! Every plan is probably a little bit different! Anyways...we started the sleep training last night..so technically in September, and he fought it for 45 mins, and was asleep by 8:15...got up a few times in the night, and we followed the plan, stayed in his room till I came and got him at 7:15...tonight he went down at 7:30 (his new bedtime) and he only came out of his room once, and it's been quiet and kid free since 7:30! We'll see how the rest of the night goes..but there is sleep in our future!
He is such a sweet kid...Boosta LOVES being funny, and will constantly do silly things, like throw a toy in Family Guy's cup of coffee, or sneeze on someone, and say "is that funny"...he's sweet, and cuddly, and still loves to be all boy playing with dirt, and rocks, and trucks and trains!
Boosta and Bug have been playing together a lot more often and it's absolutely precious. Boosta is also painfully honest..and if I'm not in the room, and Bug ends up crying, he will say "I push my baby" when I come back to the room, or "I hit my baby" ....which is great, but it always lands his little tail in time out!
We are so proud of Boosta and are just thrilled to be able to watch him grow and learn each day. We love you buddy and couldn't imagine a better first child!

the kid LOVES to build things, but gets VERY frustrated when Bug LOVES to knock down what he builds....
He got brave this month and started jumping on the moon bounce again AND going down slides by himself! This doesn't sound like a big deal..but he's been so timid about these things lately...
Boosta also had his first s'more this month....that we cooked on the outdoor chimney we got for Family Guy for his birthday....it was yummy, messy, and lots of fun!
He also LOVES to help "make" , which means help cook...we made crackers, peanut butter, and a smiley face with raisins....and he was thrilled about it!
Happy 2 years and 8 months old buddy! We love you and love watching you grow!
